Essential oils are the most effective recipes against wrinkles

A woman's confidence in her own irresistibility begins with a beautiful face. It is not only important to remain attractive at a young age. Taking care of your appearance does not lose its relevance over the years. After 40-50 years, however, other tasks arise. In adulthood, the desire to get rid of "crow's feet" and mimic wrinkles comes to the fore. Why does beauty fade with age? These are the consequences:

  • lack of sleep and stress, unbearable loads,
  • years of bad habits
  • malnutrition, use of harmful products,
  • constant influence of external factors,
  • internal changes, especially hormonal disorders,
  • loss of the skin's ability to retain moisture
  • deterioration of blood microcirculation,
  • slows down cell regeneration processes.

Unfortunately, all of this is unavoidable. But it cannot be inactive. A wise approach to the fight against aging will delay it for many years. So which weapon should you choose?

Essential oil is a product of natural origin. An ingredient used in homemade beauty recipes or sought after in anti-aging cosmetics. A few drops of essential oil applied to the skin can do wonders.

How to choose the raw material

To ensure that the active ingredient does not harm the skin, mix it with a base essential oil. When choosing the latter, an individual approach plays an important role, so take into account your skin type:

  • for normal, jojoba, almond, macadamia oil is suitable (you can experiment freely, but avoid too thick and heavy liquids),
  • for overdried use olive or avocado oil,
  • in the case of oil, the material obtained from apricot kernels is well proven,
  • for acne-prone people, try hemp or argan varieties,
  • in case of increased sensitivity and frequent inflammation, argan or coconut oil is suitable.

Frankincense: recipes for rejuvenating masks

Such masks are needed during aging, because the composition of the liquid is close to sebum. As we age, its production slows down and the skin does not receive enough moisture. You can solve the problem in the following way:

  1. Since jojoba extract is mild, you can use it on the wrinkles under the eyes without diluting it. Treat the problem areas with light strokes, let it absorb, then remove the residue with a napkin (don't rub the skin, but fix the cloth on the face).
  2. essential oil for facial rejuvenation
  3. The oil also replaces the usual make-up remover. Wipe the face with a slightly moistened cloth when removing makeup and do not wash the material with water. Thanks to its light texture, it does not leave a greasy feeling, and long-term exposure at night gives the cells the right substances.
  4. It happens that age brings not only wrinkles on the face, but also hormonal problems. As a result, adult women suffer from acne and breakouts, which can be reduced with natural remedies. You will need 1 tsp. honey, 2 drops of lemon juice, 8 mashed strawberries and 1 tsp. jojoba oils. Mix the ingredients, treat the skin and leave it on for 15-20 minutes. The ingredients saturate the skin with moisture, whiten age spots and prevent acne, and have an antibacterial effect.

The tool is used even on the skin around the eyes from wrinkles, and this area is characterized by increased sensitivity. Apply it gently, massaging lightly and holding the neck area. Repeat the process every night for quick results.

Owners of aging and dry skin benefit from a moisturizer. It consists of:

  • 1 thousand component component
  • 1 tbsp oils,
  • 2 t olive oils.

Mix the ingredients and use the mixture instead of night cream: 2-3 drops will be enough. Essential oils are good for the skin around the eyes, because due to the lack of sebaceous glands, it needs to be especially saturated with moisture.

Pomegranate seed cream is suitable for sensitive, wrinkled skin. 2 tsp. bases, add 3 tsp. melted and cooled shea butter, 2 tsp. rose water and crushed pulp of half a medium aloe leaf. Blend the ingredients in a blender until the mixture is creamy. With this cream, after removing the make-up, it stops inflammation, hydrates the skin and gets rid of the signs of aging.

Frankincense remedy restores skin smoothness and fights age spots. If the complexion has become uneven with age and wrinkles are noticeable, then use frankincense oil.

This has the following effect:

  • restores cells and protects them from damage,
  • reduces acne,
  • eliminates enlarged pores and wrinkles.

Frankincense essential oils are especially good for the skin around the eyes, because they restore lost elasticity. As a base, use a substance obtained from jojoba (2 tablespoons), to which add 6 drops of the main ingredient. Be sure to do a tolerance test first, otherwise you risk skin irritation.

Regular use improves skin tone and elasticity. Treat the under eye area every night and the results will be noticeable within a few months.

Cream is the most common cosmetic form used by girls against wrinkles. Today, literally every manufacturer has several anti-aging series to choose from. In the fight against the signs of aging, girls usually do not spare money, and marketers understand this. So products with gold, pearls and stem cell extracts appear on the shelves. . . But what are the advantages and disadvantages of such products?

  1. It is convenient to use. If you buy an anti-aging cream, you will get rid of unnecessary worries. Nothing needs to be mixed, combined, enriched and then washed off. Opened the tube and stick to the creases.
  2. It's expensive. A really effective, good tool costs a pretty penny. However, such products are usually packaged in small containers, so the tube needs to be renewed about once a month.
  3. Addictive. According to reviews, products for aging skin are quickly addictive, so after 3-5 months you need to take a break and start a new anti-aging series.
  4. It works on the surface. The cream does not deeply solve the formulated problems, it only masks the problems. Long-term use of such cosmetics will hide small wrinkles, but you will not be able to get rid of deep furrows.
  5. Contains chemical additives. When cosmetics are produced on an industrial scale, synthetic ingredients are simply indispensable. They are necessary for the "right" color, smell, texture, and long shelf life.

Store cream does not give the skin immunity. The device "works" exactly until you stop using it. The cream does not prevent the appearance of new furrows and does not "recharge" the skin with strength and anti-aging potential.

Contraindications for use

Since natural oils are substances whose active ingredients are present in high concentrations, it is recommended to dilute them before applying them to the sensitive skin of the face. Failure to follow this advice will have unpleasant consequences.

Other rules apply to the use of such funds:

  • in the evening, a cosmetic procedure must be performed, which is preceded by cleansing, toning and moisturizing the skin with creams, serums, tonics,
  • Before applying the product, the skin must be moistened with clean water,
  • the concentration is calculated based on the type of skin (4-5 drops for dry, 2-3 for normal, 1-2 drops for oily),
  • in order to achieve optimal results, the use of funds lasts no more than two months, with a frequency of procedures twice a week.

Despite the fact that essential oils are a natural gift of nature and their use rarely causes allergies, there are still contraindications.

The most important contraindication for using ether is pregnancy, because too much oil can cause miscarriage or harm the baby. The most dangerous for the fertilized organism are:

  • cypress oil,
  • lavender,
  • sage,
  • melissa,
  • fennel,
  • marjoram.

And this is not the complete list. Although you can read recommendations about aromatherapy during pregnancy in many sources, it is better not to risk it. In case of a strong desire to use the aroma oil, it is essential to consult a doctor. The use of esters is also contraindicated during breastfeeding.

Regardless of the position of the woman, no one is exempt from a single contraindication - this is the body's personal intolerance. Aether can be ideal for one person and simply harmful for another.

Individual intolerance can be to any ester, its symptoms are easily recognizable:

  • headache or tinnitus,
  • heart rate increase,
  • heavy breathing.

It is not recommended to use essential oils with children, as they affect the hormonal background of the body, and it is better not to joke about it.

In principle, these are all the contraindications, but in addition to these, you must also know the safety rules when using esters.

A skin test should be done before using any essential oil to make sure you are not allergic. The easiest way is to drip a 5% ether solution on the inside of the hand, if no redness appears after half an hour, you can safely use it.

Follow these guidelines when using essential oils:

  1. Be sure to test for an allergic reaction.
  2. Do not use essential oils in their pure form, use only base oils without additional ingredients.
  3. Any oil can be used for a maximum of 21 days with daily use. Then take a break of 7-14 days.
  4. Some esters are phototoxic. Do not use them before sunbathing to avoid burns.
  5. Protect eyes and mucous membranes from oils.
  6. If you have a chronic illness or are pregnant, talk to your doctor about using essential oils.

Contraindications

In order to avoid such consequences, it is recommended to perform a control test. Before using a certain type of cosmetic oil for the first time, a small amount should be applied to the skin of the wrist with massaging movements. If the allergy to the product does not appear after a day, you can use the oil to treat wrinkles around the eyes and sensitive facial skin.

This ingredient rarely causes allergies. Nevertheless, there are still contraindications. It is not worth experimenting with pregnant women and nursing mothers. Individual intolerance is also possible - no one is immune to this. What is good for some may not be good for others. This applies not only to essential oils, but also to other cosmetics.

Many facial essential oils can be used against wrinkles. But to achieve the maximum effect of the use of oils, an individual approach is required. After all, what works for one woman may not work for another.
